I see my world and it saddens me
As to what I only know
I hope I’m wrong as to what will come
-The wall will crumble with this final blow.
The giants kneel,
And the river’s skin will become rough and dry,
The crown will poison,
And not even the saddest star will cry…
Drunk with power,
Our one king will scurry well after his feet have tired
Blind with fear
We can only look toward our missing Sire
I see my world and it saddens me
And too late you all will know
Our whole kingdom will fall…
-with this final blow.
Whoever it was is entitled to their opinion. But I do like yours a whole lot more :)
I saw so much beauty through the pain,
I saw the white despite the stain,
I saw a dove within the crow,
A shiny arrow in a tattered bow,
I saw the peace amongst the stress,
I saw the Prince amid his mess…
I’m sorry you feel that way. Many feel otherwise. Perhaps you have a different sense of creativity. That’s the beauty of art, though. Perspective is everything.
